A beautiful formal fan, it it made of heavy paper and is gold on one side and silver on the other. It has a double yellow cord at the bottom with 2 elaborate, decorative knots and ends with two tassels in red and white. The outside edge of the fan has a flower motif printed on it in gold. The fan measures 11" when opened and is the perfect size for a lady. We used it solely as decoration only. It is in good condition and shows the normal wear that the years would cause. Was bought at a flea market in Japan and estimated to be from the 70s.Can be used as intended or as a beautiful decoration.
