Antique Japan Cup & Saucer Tea Set, Meiji Kutani Japanese Gold Moriage Eggshell Porcelain Hand Painted Peacock Scenes Cup Saucer Set, 1920s'

This lovely teacup set is from our large collection of all things vintage.

Stunning antique 1920s' Japanese Meiji-Taisho period Meiji Kutani tea cup and saucer set featuring snow white traditional "old" oriental shape hand painted Eggshell Porcelain cup and saucer. Beautiful colorful very detailed painting depicts a blue and orange peacock amongst the cherry blosoms scenes with panoramic landscape of water and charming garden flowers in the background. Magnificent wide tea cup and deep saucer have lovely bright design with blue trim.

The scene is just spectacular in bright, brilliant colors.

On the base is stamped in turquoise: Hand Painted Made In Japan with a pagoda design.

Measure approx.: cup- 2" high and 3 5/8" in diameter at the widest part; saucer 5 3/8" in diameter, and 7/8 deep.
