Vintage Somayaki Somaware 15 Piece Tea Set Handcrafted Crackle Glaze Double Wall w/ Hearts & Gold Trim Painted Horse Design. This is a beautiful set never used only as a cabinet display. This comes with a large teapot measuring 8.5 inches tall, one creamer, one sugar bowl with lid, six tea cups, and six plates, each having a 5.5” diameter. This was made by skilled Japanese craftsman and they have the double wall design with cut out hearts they were called " double cups" insulated cups. This type of pottery, also known as Obori Soma-yaki, originates from the Fukushima Prefecture in northern Japan. Unique Features:
