Large vintage oval 2 quart amber brown casserole dish with lid in the retired FUME pattern by ARCOPAL of France.

This piece has a great modern look with its sleek lines and blunt cut handles.

Arcopal France produced its Fume pattern of smoky brown glass in the 1970s and 1980s. This distinctive glassware was part of the company's line of tempered, heat-resistant tableware.

It was created as a fashionable, retro-style kitchen and dining collection during the mid-to-late 20th century.

Today, pieces from the Fume range are vintage collectibles and are recognized for their popular 1970s and 80s aesthetic. 

Both the lid and base can be used for baking. The lid holds 1C and the base 2QT.

Lid and dish are both stamped ARCOPAL and France.

Dish is in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Base wear on the lid top and base indicate previous use.
