Haviland Schleiger 630-2 Covered Casserole Dish # 23004

This is a Haviland Schleiger 630-2 Covered Caserole Dish from 1903. It has a Theodore Haviland Backstamp in which Theodore is underlined as shown. The covered casserole dish is white with pink and blue flowers at the rim, gold trim and beautiful shaping at the top of the lid under the handle and one the bottom half of the dish.

The casserole dish measures 9.50 inches by 7.25 inches wide at the rim. It is 11.50 inches from handle to handle and 2.75 inches tall.

It is 5 3/8 inches to the top of the handle on the lid.

This antique dish has a repaired chip, perhaps, under the lid next to the marking. It can be seen in pictures 4 and 6.

There are no other chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. It is truly in beautiful condition. The bottom is also marked Phillips and Buttorf Mfg Nashville Tenn.
