Overall fair considering its age. Book repair tape holding boards to spine. Spine cover missing. No pages loose although a couple of the pre title pages are loosening. Typical foxing though not very extensive considering its 220 year age.

Incredibly rare. One of my rarest, for sure

The author, Friedrich Schiller 1759-1805, lived and wrote in German. This is a true 2nd Edition of the original 1790 work in its original German language. The Thirty Year's War covered all of Europe, not just Germany from 1618-1648. This history gives an account of the conflict between Protestants and Catholics, the cause of the war. This war was so devastating to Germany... they lost 25% to 40% of their population. If you are interested in German history or are of German descent, this is a MUST read.
