Vintage Skirt Suit, 1950s Purple Houndstooth Blazer, Skirt, and Hat Size XS-S
Smokey purple color suit has a houndstooth weave and lovely stitched details. The jacket is fully lined and has ingenious chest pockets that have a raised "X" design. The covered buttons slip into faced buttonholes. The buttons and buttonholes both have visible stitching and construction on the back - the lapel seems unlined? Not sure if this is an indication of the jacket being handmade, but its so interesting to see these details (and very impressive for handmade!). The skirt is lined on the back side, and has a side metal zip closure.
There is some yellowing to the inner neck of the jacket, and there are two moth hole repairs at the buttons (as shown in photos). The matching hat has a single moth hole repair, and the net has a few holes in it. Even with her flaws, she is a
