Beautifully sun faded straw hat circa early 1900’s. Somewhat similar to a boater hat but fashioned for women and constructed for women’s hair styles of the day.

I can find no flaws with the straw other than it being faded and maybe a little dusty. The black silk interior is missing its stitching about halfway around the crown but holds its shape and is not falling out. Also a bit dirty/dusty.

Absolutely beautifully constructed, likely all hand woven.

Interior measures 22” and has plenty of give.
