New without tags. They are black but have subtle brown undertones. I recommend looking up the official Dr. Martens pictures for a better showing of the color in the last photos. Rubbed down with wonder balsam for your convenience. There are minor marks on the tongue of the left shoe as pictured but they are not visible when laced up. Let me know if you have any questions.
